Firefox and Mac - cant enter password

Using firefox on mac leopard 10.5.8 and JFileUpload 2.6 with ftp - on an irregular basis, if you drag and drop a file, you will get the username and password box - but you cannot put focus on the locations to enter the username and password. You can click on the cancel button.

You can select the file using the "file" menu - then you can always enter the username and password.

Very difficult to determine how to replicate this problem. I cannot find any pattern of events that will always lead to the problem. It just happens at irregular intervals on the three different Mac's that I have tested.

Problem does not occur on any version of Windows I have tested.

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Which JRE version are you using under 10.5?
