I'm using the jfileupload with the s3 add-on in a "Client-only" restricted area of my Joomla website. Therefore, I want to include the script in a joomla "article" page.
This is the code I've added:
<!-- JFileUpload Applet : Begin copy/paste -->
<script src="(my path here)/applet_s3.js" /></script>
<!-- JFileUpload Applet : End copy/paste -->
When I add the script reference to a joomla page, it gives me the following error:
load: class jfileupload.upload.client.MApplet.class not found.
java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: jfileupload.upload.client.MApplet.class

Exception: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: jfileupload.upload.client.MApplet.class
When I load an HTML page directly (that is in the same directory as the script) it works like a charm.
By the way ... the path shown above is NOT the path where the script is. The script is actually somewhere else (which I'd rather not publish because it will allow others who read this forum to access my s3 account).
Any ideas?
Java error inside Joomla site - not with static html page.Re: Java error inside Joomla site - not with static html page.Yes, try to update CODEBASE parameters with the absolute URL to the lib/ folder that includes JAR files. For instance, if your jfileupload.jar is available through :
http://server.com/something/lib/jfileupload.jar then try to update CODEBASE from CODEBASE="./" to CODEBASE="http://server.com/something/" Does it help? Re: Java error inside Joomla site - not with static html page.That worked!
I also needed to change the reference to the license files. Thanks! |
