Upload failed with java.net.SocketException

I have been using upload applet for long . But now I tried to upload two different files by opening my upload application in two IE browsers . After the upload proceeds for 60% in one session and 55% in another session, upload applet gave an exception below
Upload started ...Upload failed : java.net.SocketException: Connection reset by peer: socket write error

This error means that server has closed the socket. Do you have any error in server-side log files?

I put logs in my server side code and came to know that there is a discrepancy between the actual size of the file and the size of the file read using Request.InputStream (My server side code is in C#). The interface though shows the right file size when the upload begins.

Does a simple HTML upload work with your server?
