My uploads are timing out, but only on my PC not others

Here is the update anyway on information.

After their development team took days to get back to me, they instructed me that mysql was to blame, and my hosting provider would need to adjust my timeout variable. It is already set to 30, and it still would not explain how I am able to upload just fine from a friends house. And yes, the upload does take longer then 30 seconds, especially at his house. He is running a 12mb internet connection as I am running a 30. Nevertheless, Godaddy instructed me that it is not possible to change that variable on shared hosting, the value is static and changing it for me would be changing it for everybody on teh shared hosting. Which upset me as I am paying for unlimited hosting which is unlimited bandwidth and unlimited space. This obviously does not apply to mysql, only the server. But they instructed me that the developer can optimize the query to succesfully finish in under 30 seconds. I mean, it doesnt even get 5 mbs into the upload before it times and out, and some times it is a socket write error.

Please resend the tool.

I am so upset as I have paid for both hosting and software and seem to be stuck in the middle with no way out.
