Missing methods and docs

I want to use Javascript to:

Launch file browser
Clear list items
Begin to upload

I look in this file but can't found what i want:

Also i want to hide the progrees bar and use my own div.. is this possible ?

I download the jsapi2.5 but inside documentation-jsapi folder there is an api folder but is empty

Can somebody help on this please ?

startUpload from Javascript is not available in our JSAPI because we consider it could be a secuoty hole. Someone could use the applet to upoad files silently. However, if you need this feature we can implement it in a custom version for your company. If you're interested in then contact support(at)jfileupload(dot)com
