FTP folder name calling

Post by emersonandre »

Hello,
I'm enjoying the application.
I search the forum, but without success.
I'm using FTP script with authentication and is working perfect, with the folder set in code.
But what I wanted was to be able to name the folder, which was asked that the User. Is it possible?
Thanks

<PARAM NAME="param5" VALUE="account">
<PARAM NAME="value5" VALUE="foldername">
<PARAM NAME="param6" VALUE="accountcreation">
<PARAM NAME="value6" VALUE="true">

Does it help ?

unfortunately not.
he asks me the name of the folder, when I go to http://localhost/applet_ftp.html
he asks the User and password, it uploads the files in the folder "foldername" the root of the site.

the idea is:
choose the files, the script calls for the validation of the User and password, and asks me the name of the new folder that had been within http://localhost/minishowcase/galleries

using the script already applet_ftp_explorer.html can drag the entire folder on my site. But I tried on another and gave the following error:
java.util.MissingResourceException: Can't find bundle for base name i18n_bar, locale pt_BR

Thank you for your attention.

this is the script code with the suggestions.

document.writeln('<PARAM NAME=CODE VALUE="jfileupload.upload.client.MApplet.class">');
document.writeln('<PARAM NAME=CODEBASE VALUE="./">');
document.writeln('<PARAM NAME=ARCHIVE VALUE="lib/jfileupload.jar,lib/ftpimpl.jar,lib/cnet.jar,lib/clogging.jar">');
document.writeln('<PARAM NAME=NAME VALUE="fileupload">');
document.writeln('<PARAM NAME="type" VALUE="application/x-java-applet;version=1.4">');
document.writeln('<PARAM NAME="scriptable" VALUE="true">');
document.writeln('<PARAM NAME="resources" VALUE="i18n">');
document.writeln('<PARAM NAME="url" VALUE="ftp://www.deluguy.com.br">');
document.writeln('<PARAM NAME="authentication" VALUE="auto"> ');
document.writeln('<PARAM NAME="param1" VALUE="account">');
document.writeln('<PARAM NAME="value1" VALUE="/public_html/minishowcase/galleries">');
document.writeln('<PARAM NAME="param3" VALUE="pasv">');
document.writeln('<PARAM NAME="value3" VALUE="true">');
document.writeln('<PARAM NAME="mode" VALUE="ftp">');
document.writeln('<PARAM NAME="param5" VALUE="account">');
document.writeln('<PARAM NAME="value5" VALUE="foldername">');
document.writeln('<PARAM NAME="param6" VALUE="accountcreation">');
document.writeln('<PARAM NAME="value6" VALUE="true">');
document.writeln('<PARAM NAME="folderdepth" VALUE="()"> ');

First, to fix java.util.MissingResourceException: Can't find bundle for base name i18n_bar, locale pt_BR issue:
Make sure you're able to access i18n.properties directly in your browser with:
http://yourserver.com/something/i18n.properties
If you get 403 or 404 then enable "text/plain" for ".properties" extension in mime-types section of your web server. This issue is detailed in the FAQ:
http://www.jfileupload.com/products/jfi ... aq.html#28

Second, about folder creation:
Could you provide a testing FTP account ? I can check what's wrong.
Send info to support(at)jfileupload(dot)com
