Not exactly. I followed certain link and then I went back.
I always have to test using File-Open (sometimes Copy-Paste). Drag 'n drop does not work here (Ubuntu & Firefox)

I am testing jimageFilter. Drag and drop jpgs works fine. I deliberately change the page while resizing-uploading to see what happened. The process stopped, as expected. The problem I found is that restarting uploads, the first image was not scaled, a 4MB image was uploaded instead of a less than 10...

I aaaaalways forget to clean the java cache. To do this in Firefox I have to close and open the program.
500x380 pixels takes around 174kb (this image) in quality 1
35Kb in quality 0.6
49Kb in quality 0.8

Is it possible to control sharpening amount?
I would prefer less filtering.

Image quality on resized images

I cannot see differences between setting 'quality=0' or 'quality=1' in scaling.properties. I set 0.8 by default but I see artifacts on people faces so I made some test on extreme values. 2000x1346 the tiff file w/o compression, same as bmp I could upload
I didn't get any error msg. RAM = 2Gb, 1Gb in use and 1Gb cached

In applet browser I am trying to avoid displaying .* files like ._imgage.jpg

I was able to resize-upload 8MB files in TIFF AND BMP but the upload started without resampling on 8MB Photoshop RAW created image and 56MB Tiff one.
