JSAPI and setRegularParameter

Hi,

We use Jfileupload and we are currently testing with Jbatchupload and JSAPI.

By calling the JSAPI method 'setRegularParameter' for the parameter 'preprocessingfilter', it is not changed in the applet, it works very well for other parameters.

Is there a particular method ?

Thanks for your help.

Nicolas

preprocessingfilter is instantied on applet loading only. You need to switch to another preprocessingfilter once the applet is loaded?

Yes, also for the preprocessingfilter extra-parameter 'archivefullname', is it possible ?

It should work for all preprocessingfilter parameters before there are reloaded on each execution.
Have you tried with setExtraParameter or setRegularParameter JavaScript function ?

Hi,

I can set the archive name on my server-side script so I did not try for archivefullname parameter.

For preprocessingfilter parameter I used 'setRegularParameter' JS function but without success, can I do have to reload the applet obligatorily to modify this parameter ?

Thanks.

I've just made a test and it works from here. Here is what I've done:
In my HTML/JavaScript:
<PARAM NAME="preprocessingfilterparam6" VALUE="archivefullname">
<PARAM NAME="preprocessingfiltervalue6" VALUE="test.zip">

I load the applet and I can see test.zip uploaded with selected files in the ZIP archive.

then I call:
document.fileupload.setRegularParameter ("preprocessingfiltervalue6","tester.zip");

and the next upload is tester.zip.

Hi,

Ok for preprocessingfilter extra-parameter 'archivefullname', but it doesn't work apparently for regular-parameter 'preprocessingfilter' so I must reload the applet, what a pity !

Thanks for your response.

Why do you need to update the preprocessingfilter implementation ?

Because I allow the user to select the compression process (one file or not) before upload so when the applet is loaded.

So your need is to enable/disable the preprocessing filter by JavaScript but not to instantiate a new filter, correct?
