Hello,

JfileUpload fulfills all our requirements except one. We have a jsp page where we want the users to select the files using JFileUpload but the upload process should start when the user will click submit button on the jsp [and not submit button from the JFileUpload]

Do you think this is possible? To give a rough idea, I am attaching the image of our existing system.

We will replace the traditional way of uploading file to JFileUpload but we want the users to click Submit button which will do a form post and submit all the form values + upload documents selected by JFileUpload.

Please let me know if this is possible.

Thanks and Regards
Meenakshi

Yes, but it requires a customization. We need to add a new JavaScript function such as document.fileupload.startUpload() that you will call on event on our HTML button.
Could it fit to your need?
We didn't have this feature in standard because we consider it could be a security hole (someone could hide the applet and force upload from JavaScript) that's why we could provide a customization.
